My shop heater works like new again
This was an exact motor replacement for my shop infrared heater vent. After 24 years the old motor was having some problems with starting up, and now with the new motor the startup is smooth and quiet.

New motor fit old reznor unit even though it was exactly the same. Make sure you buy the new fan wheel and blade could not get old one off.

I appreciated the help and prompt service.
I was in the process of purchasing a motor and blower wheel assy. I called in and spoke with a sales person who double checked my application. The product is correct and exact replacement, that is all good.
I am sure there are variations in the way Reznor assembles their product at the factory there was so much Loctite or some other adhesive on the set screw that it destroyed two hex head keys. Ordered special hardened steel impact hex heads the set screw finally stripped out. I had to drill out the set screw, drill a new hole a and a tap to thread it. Not fun, had I known I would have purchased new fan blade and skipped the hassle. I would suggest getting the fan off the shaft before you order the motor.
