Needed this valve. Hard to find but they were easy to find. Very fast shipping. Will use again. Item as described.

I used it on a Richmond water heater. The original valve is a bit shorter. So it sticks out about an inch more than needed. Great flow, cuts draining time in half.

Purchased this as replacement drain valve for a newly installed water heater. Having used it twice so far for complete draining can verify ease of use and fast draining. I'm glad I purchased the longer version because newer heaters have much thicker insulation which has the drain outlet offset deeper from the outside shell. It's expensive but it's heavy duty and well made. It could last thru multiple water heaters.

Purchased this to replace the standard drain to make sure I could properly flush the tank. It's is a full flow gate value. Solid brass installed without any issues. Only complaint in the handle length is about half or less what it should be. You will have to use a pair of pliers to open and close. Since not used must it's ok.
