Had to replace a water tank 2016 rheem gas valve works great, also purchased the pilot assembly also works good, in the past i would just clean the flame senor and spark electrode just to wind up coming back a month later so now i just try and replace the whole pilot assembly when necessary, love supply house.com great products great service.

New Part worked worked wonders
I purchased this product t half the cost of a local plumbing supply store. If fit perfect and I didn't have to replace the hot water heater. Rheem refused to cover it under warranty so I refused to purchase it from them even though the hot water heater was only 4yrs old and it's supposed to be a 6 year warranty.

what I needed
I needed a replacement gas valve for a water heater my plumber did not know where to get ( was not carried by the supplier he used. The company that made the heater specified this product but did not carry it now. Your company had it and got it to me promptly and it works. can't improve on that.

Q: Hello, my hot water heater is a Rheem 40 gal. and it seems this part #AP14270C is the replacement to correct the pilot light problem that Rheem has been having over the past few years. So my question is will all my factory burner fittings install without any additional fittings required to my factory burner, except for the wire that's provided with this new kit or thermostat! My serial number for the hot water heater is #A372000433, model #XG40S06EC34U0, Thank you........PS! Please let me know if this replacement part is correct, and i don't need any additional brass fittings for the pilot light.
