my Rheem MR20 had sat in storage for a time and thethree O-rings dried out. Supply house could not differentiae the serial number so I had to buy three times two in hope to have the proper sizes. My heater took two of one and one of the other,
The cost was about $7 bucks apiece. If I had know the actual size, McMaster & Carr would have been much cheaper.

okay
My Rheems MR 20 series required two different sized seals. The outlet and the pop-off used the SP230090. while the intake with the larger relief valve took the SP230010 seal.

I believe Rheem has the wrong seal identified.
The valve replacement works perfectly. There are two different models the rep identified and Rheem has this one listed as the correct seal for my Marathon Water Heater. I believe the other model is the correct one because I attempted several ways to stretch it over the fitting. However, it didn't work. I believe it is too small. I recommend buying both models to make sure you have one that fits.
