Q: What is the functional difference between a condensing and non condensing termination? Can I use either one with a V65i water heater?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffCondensing units have a plastic exhaust flue pipe, while non condensing units have a metal flue due to higher temperatures. V65i is a non-condensing unit, so you cannot use the condensing venting pieces.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffIt is actually 4" on the outer piece. It is concentric venting for a Condensing Water heater (the RU series).
