The 1960-027 is a special low-mass or quick dropout thermocouple. It is
usually found on applications that require an oxygen depletion system on
the thermo safety. Also found on many L.P. gas applications that require a
quick dropout of the thermo safety if there is a loss of pilot flame.

Just the exact part I needed
This thermocouple is used in Gas fireplace systems. It is known to have quick drop out characteristics that others don't have. Very important to get the right part quickly to get customers fireplaces up and running pronto.
