Verified Reply- Supplyhouse Staffin user setting under the SCAL, heading
hold down the up&down arrow buttons. the display will start blinking either F or C. press the down arrow and the C will change to F. Press the schedule button to reset
To Make Changes to the Settings When the up arrow and the down arrows are pressed at the same time, the thermostat will display the current settings in order. To change any setting; When the SCAL setting is visible and flashing press the up or down arrow to adjust the SCAL setting on the screen. To exit the changes and save: Press START/STOP SCHEDULE. The thermostat will return to operation.
Q: My system has a Robert Shaw 300-252. Is the RS 5110 equivalent to 300-252?

Q: is this t-stat a good choice for hydroair heat system with AC.if not what is.need 3 degree diff.to prevent short cycles.also can auto changeover be shut off and used manually.

You can set the differential up to 3 degrees. Auto changeover can not be turned off specifically but you can manually override your programed temp setting easily. But when you override, your override to the temp setting will expire and the programmed temp setting will take over again in 3 hours. Dennis

yes. The 5110 has 3 degree differential. I recently was educating myself on the Robertshaw thermostats with purchasing in mind. Every one of the programables are 3 degrees differentials. I purchased two 8600s recently. Lorna
Yes, .5 degrees to 3 degrees.
Yes. You can set the temperature differential from 1/2 of a degree to 3 degrees. This is the reason I bought this unit to replace a Honeywell brand which was factory set and could not be changed.
The RS5110 provides for easy on-screen differential setting changes. Supports a 2-stage system. I haven't had to use other than the default setting. Dennis

Yes - I have a 3 zone radiant system and have 3 of these thermostats. I tried 2 different Honeywell thermostats and they didn't work well because they tried to hold the temperature within +/- 1 degree and the system kept going on and off. They don't have a swing/differential adjustment on any of their thermostats. The Robert Shaw allows you to adjust swing/differential in 1/2 degree steps up to 3 degrees. They work great.
Q: Is this the best choice for a Robert Shaw thermostat to use to replace the 9600 model I presently have in a vacation home? I want to have an AC range up to 95 degrees. The home is unoccupied during the summers with the AC set to max.
