How SaniPlus Operates:
When the toilet is flushed, the water drains into the SaniPlus. Inside, the pressure sensing system, consisting of a microswitch and a membrane detects pressure from the water level rising inside. Once the water reaches the membrane, the pump turns on and causes the blades to spin at 3600 RPM. The blades chop the waste into tiny particles, which fall to the bottom of the pump case. These are then picked up by the impeller and pumped out of the internal discharge pipe. As the waste exits the pump, the waste goes through a discharge elbow which connects to an external 3/4" discharge pipe. A built in non-return valve, prevents the waste from returning back to the pump once the system turns off. As the water level in the container goes down, the micro switch shuts off until the toilet is flushed again. The SaniPlus cycle is roughly 15 to 18 seconds depending upon the discharge configuration.
