Full Slip Valve Tee 7/8" O.D. Comp x 1/4" O.D. Comp

I used this kit to replace a saddle valve that failed. Installation is very easy, just make two cuts and tighten the compression fittings. It's a slip fitting so you don't need any play in the pipe, just make sure to use a Sharpie and follow the marking instructions. It took about 10 minutes to install and the flow rate is WAY better than the saddle valve ever was. The 7/8" kit is the correct size for nominal 3/4" copper pipe.

I wanted to install a water line to the refrigerator. I had identified the supply line but was not brave enough to cut the the line a solder the required valve and fittings. This was THE perfect device for my particular application. All I need to do was shut off the water, cut a 1 inch section out of the copper supply line, slip on this FULL slip valve, then use wrenches to tighten down the compression nuts on both ends. Worked perfect first time, no leaks !!!
