Great for tub spouts!
I'm not a fan of soldering because I don't have a lot of experience and I'm just not trained professionally for it. I use pipe fittings and PEX for all of my shower valves and since you can't use PEX on a tub spout I use push to connect fittings along with this tub spout elbow to maintain the proper inside diameter water flow. These work great because they give enough length between the shower valve and tub spout.
