- Hydra-Rester male sweat fittings are compatible with press-fitting systems, such as Viega ProPress and all push-fitting systems such as Cash Acme SharkBite®
- Allows for installation in 2 × 4 wall cavity
- Installs at any angle
- ASSE 1010 certified as a water hammer arrester that is designed to provide continuous protection, without maintenance allowing the Hydra-Rester to be installed without access panels
- All Hydra-Resters are made from no-lead components and are California AB 1953 compliant
- FBC system compatible

I would not hesitate to buy again.
Worked better than expected on my main water line for the irrigation system. I installed the arrester as close as possible to the valves and eliminated all of the pipe rattle in the system.

Used it on a home sprinkler system. It was perfect
Tried using a mini-rester and it hardly made a dent in the water hammering. Installed this bad boy in-line right before the valve manifold and it completed eliminated any hint of water hammer. Don't mess around trying smaller units go straight to one this size.

I would use this product again.
I installed this hammer arrester in my hydronic baseboard system to reduced the banging from zone valves that close very fast. The flowing water has much mass and inertia especially in my longest zone which contains about 8 gallons of water, the arrester did the trick.
