Installed with additional parts for washing machine hookups. AA made for the same purpose did not work to stop water hammer at all. Sizing up to a B size hammer arrestor, stopped the issue completely.

This product simply works to completely eliminate water hammer from my irrigation system.

The product arrived sooner than expected, and works like a charm. I'm very satisfied with my purchase of the water hammer arrester. The price was less than other brands, but quality is just as good. Thank you.

Eliminates hammering on washing machine.

I have heard a banging (Hammering) in my house water plumbing since I installed a lawn sprinkler system to keep my lawn green during the summer. The banging occurred when the sprinkler system started and each time a valve would shut off for the next in sequence to actuate. Google led me to Hammering in water systems and ways to stop it. Google sent me to SupplyHouse for an arrester. After installation was completed the banging (Hammering) was gone upon lawn watering and all subsequent valve starts and stop activation's.

Sioux Chief water arrestors work great on my washing machine lines to stop the water hammer in the water line that occurs at the other end of my house. Supply House is great to work with to suggest what size & also additional parts to install the arrestors with. And Sioux Chief, the manufacturer, was excellent in honoring a warranty claim I had on 2 arrestors we had purchased for a different project.

This is the biggest arrestor I could find. I use on my irrigation water line. Not a separate line from the street but a 3/4" pipe out of the house. Kept getting a nasty water hammer every time one of the valves shut down. Installed close to the valve area and this fixed the problem.

I installed 2 of these on my washing machine copper water lines, before I installed them, every time the water valves would close all the pipes in the house would rattle badly. I put these on and you can't even hear when the valve turns on or off totally fixed the problem. The water hammer issue was so bad some of the pipes came loose inside the walls and I'll have to someday go in and reattach them so they are moving around.
