Makes for a very neat job!
Mounted with valve on top and 1/2" PEX feed from above. The metal strap makes mounting quick and easy. The clear flexible temporary cover keeps construction dirt, wallboard compound and paint out of the box until final trim-out/connection. With the snap-in trim plate installed it looks great. The ball valve makes fixture maintenance quick without the need to shut-off all the water in the house.

Toilet outlet box
This product is well made and is great for a dishwasher connection. It is a little large and more commercial looking for a bathroom connection.

Product Q&A
1 Question1 Question
Q: The illustration says 'female' PEX connection and the specs say 'male' PEX connection. Could you clarify which sort of connection it is. Do I need to order an adapter or will 1/2" PEX fit directly?

The PEX side is indeed MALE. I recently placed two of these Ox Box for a toilet and one for a fridge, both were male on the PEX inlet side.

You do not need an adapter, your PEX tubing will get crimped to the stub.

The part has a "standard", male PEX barb. The PEX tubing fits directly over the barb. No other fittings are needed.
