Non standard crimp connections.
The crimp connections to the valves are a non standard size. They connect fine, but don't mess up. My crimp removal tool wouldn't fit in the connection. This is the only time I've had that happen. I had to remove the rings with a cutoff wheel on my dremel.
So, if you don't mess up, there fine. But the nonstandard opening makes correcting mistakes a pain.

Q: How wide is one section (half) of the face plate? I want to use the box and valves behind a shower panel that is 7 in. wide, and it needs to cover this completely. I will not be using the drain half, or it's cover plate.

Q: Is that a single wall plate with two windows or two separate wall plates? I want to put water hook ups on a different wall than the drain is on.
