1-1/2" x 1" 90° PVC Insert Reducing Elbow (Insert x FIPT)

This was used to replace an old failed fitting in my lawn irrigation. I wasn't able to find a proper fitting from the supply line to the sprinkler head locally, so very pleased that SupplyHouse.com had exactly the right part.

The 1/2" Barb is way off. It will not fit/or push into a 1/2" flexible swing/funny pipe (ie...SUPER BLUE, Flex Pipe, Funny Swing Pipe) unless you heat the pipe up first in order to make maleable enough to be able to push in, and really, if the fiiting is correct, you really shouldn't have to. In fact, the inner diameter of the hole is the same size of outer diameter of funny pipe itself. Did not match other fittings I have and tested that do fit and are made for the type of funny pipe tubing as mentioned and do have a smaller inner and outer diameter overall. As a matter of fact, the outer diameter matched the outer diameter of my 3/4" Pex-B pipe. So in other words, this thing is closer to a 3/4" than a 1/2" and I couldn't even push it into that pipe either which should tell you just how big this thing really is. So unless they sent me the wrong size, which is hard to tell since they sent it without any labels or markings to prove otherwise, they really shouldn't have charged me a return fee just on the false description this product alleges to be used for. They mailed 20 loose tied in a clear plastic bag you put goldfish in from a pet store. In the end, I had to return these and pay a $15 fee for the return label which I believe I shouldn't had to pay if this was a mistake in size which I have no way of proving they made, but their online description alone is not accurate and should be taken down. So if you buy these, and I bought 20 which came to about roughly $40 with tax and shipping, then you buy at your own risk of having to pay for a return when you find out as a couple of others have mentioned, it comes to big. They just lost a repeat customer at this point! Good luck!
