Q: Just purchased 2 460-015G 1 1/2" pvc sch 40 insert x IPS spigot adapter (gray). They do not fit over the 1 1/2" pvc pipe I am using. Is this not a 1 1/2" slip fitting? Order #18844967 Invoice #21774443

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHi Art, thanks for writing in. This is a spigot adapter, meaning the fitting is the same size as 1-1/2" PVC pipe and is meant to be glued into a 1-1/2" socket/slip fitting. For the same fitting but with a socket/slip connection, please see SKU: 474-015 (it is white PVC, as we do not carry the gray version which would be 474-015G) - https://www.supplyhouse.com/Spears-474-015-1-1-2-PVC-Schedule-40-Insert-x-Socket-Adapter
