Q: Will the 1" socket* 1" insert fit over the end of 1" pipe (1.25" od) and into 1" tubing?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHello, thanks for writing in. The socket end will fit over 1" nominal PVC pipe (1.315" OD) and the insert end will fit inside 1" poly pipe using a hose clamp.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHi Eddie. The insert side of this fitting will not work with PEX, as it is meant to be used with vinyl or polypropylene tubing using hose clamps. For PEX tubing using crimp rings or cinch clamps, an alternative to this fitting would be SKU: 645X4P. For PEX-A tubing using the expansion method, an alternative would be SKU: 645WG4P
