We recently purchased a new home and had a Spirotherm air vent on it that was heavily calcified and wouldn't vent air (the system had been installed and not serviced for 10+ years). I purchased this and a new inner core and installed them and they worked great! It nearly immediately vented air (enough air that I could feel the air coming out of the vent) and the system works great again with no pinging noises.

Replaced vent head on a unit that had started to leak. Perfect fit on on a 30 year old air vent. Not many manufacturers have a unit good enough to last 30 years and still have a replacement part.

Perfect swap out.
My old one was spraying water out the top. It was about 9 years old. I removed it using a crescent wrench and installed this perfect fit replacement. The new one vents as designed, no leaks. Would recommend trying this yourself to save a service call.

Exact replacement for 20-year-old item
My Spirovent Junior has been in service for over 20 years and finally stopped working because of scale buildup on the bleeder valve.
Was hoping that they hadn't changed Dimensions or thread size or anything like that and I was pleasantly surprised.. remove the old one the new one screwed right on and sealed up and works like a charm.

These work extremely well.
Really gets the air out! Wish they lasted longer, though--they are only lasting about 6 years average. I'm cleaning the old one with dilute vinegar (as per mfg. suggestion); we'll see if that is successful when this new one fails (will use new O-ring.) Easy to replace.
