8910DP definite purpose magnetic contactors are designed for heating, air conditioning and refrigeration applications. This line of definite purpose contactors has current ratings up to 120 amperes resistive and 50 HP at 600 VAC. This three pole definite purpose contactor has a full load rating of 30 ampere and a resistive rating of 40 amperes. It also has a 2 HP at 115 VAC single phase, 5 HP at 230 VAC single phase and 10 HP at 230 VAC three phase, 15 HP at 460 VAC three phase and 20 HP at 575 VAC three phase. The nonreplaceable coil is available with a variety of coil voltages. This device has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. The contactor has straight through wiring. Contactor is 3.75 inches by 2.37 inches and 3.00 tall. These contactors are UL component recognized and CSA certified.

Almost Exact Replacement
Had to replace a few 25 amp contactors for a large condensing unit. I wanted to get the same footprint and couldn't find the 25 amp contactors. These 30 amp contactors worked perfectly. Square D pricing has always been higher than most but they are of better quality in my opinion.

Product pricing has increased drastically....
Great service, quality and delivery. Primary concern is the huge increase in pricing for this product by over 100% in the past year. Seems like taking advantage of consumers with "covid pricing".

Square D Thingamajig
I'm not an electrician but had to deal with my kid's Buford Mechanical Roping Steer which stopped working. After much head scratching, determined to replace the Square D direct control. (240 v) The Supply House picture and parts description were good matches and helped me compare the really old dusty original to the new updated version. So, I replaced it and now the Steer works! For grins--go see a video of it on YouTube--"Johnson Bros Buford Mechanical Steer". Thanks, Supply House. My DIY project got done!
