I would buy this product again

The previous zone valve was in service for 20 years without any problems. We put a new zone valve in because we added another zone and had to move the old valve. So we felt we may want to replace it as a precaution only.

Sole source item.

This part is a designed-in item for an indoor pool heating system. Due to it's tight space fit, alternatives cannot be used. This valve seems to last about 5-7 years at which time complete replacement (not just the coil) must be made. When it works it works.

The three way zone valve will act as a by-pass in a system. The design of your system will dictate whether or not you need it.
