6 Zone Valve Control Module with Priority

Buy this controller, wiring is a breeze, it controls all zones and DHW. Cost was well worth it's weight. I hope to get many years of use from it. Would highly recommend this product.

I purchased a 4-zone relay to consolidate several pump zones onto a common variable-speed circulator. Not a lot one can add to what is said about these ubiquitous Taco controls; they are as advertised and make your wiring jobs neater. Let me re-phrase. You can always do a sloppy wiring job no matter what controls you use. The Taco line removes your bad excuses. :)

Zone valves or circulators,,,these relays make everything about wiring more simple...also the priority switch is great for domestic hot water...

Broke the house up into a Primary/Secondary Loop Controlling 3 zone valves with end switches signaling panel when valve is open (I like this feature). When active, operates secondary loop pump and commands a wall hung boiler on. Have plans this summer to install same panel in parents house, maybe with more zones. No Complaints here on products operation

This unit does exactly what it says it will do. My heating system is three zones, plus an in-floor radiant system. The control wiring for this systems was a maze of cable, relays, and guesswork. Seriously needed replacing. The Good: Simple, clean wiring. Zone indicator lights let you tell at a glance what zone is calling for heat Includes transformer and relays so that you can bypass your internal boiler controls (if desired) Simple screw down connections for control and power wiring. Tech support was very helpful and replied quickly. The Bad: The manual could be a bit more clear. Need to review the manual while looking at the circuit board to get the full picture. I actually contacted Taco tech support, then found the information I was looking for printed on the circuit board. Access holes do not prevent dust from entering unit. The Ugly: Working clearances internal to the unit are very tight. Need to be careful about wire routing to ensure a clean install. Ensure and test that power is off before working on unit, even connection of low voltage. 24 volts can kick up quite a few sparks.
