These filters are impossible to assemble onto the plugs Broke 3 trying to assemble them

Joanne D in product support was outstanding. Such a great thing to find a knowledgeable person with a helpful attitude. Then after I received the filters I thought the ancient T-K Jr had heated it's final drop because it just wouldn't fire up. She was ready to let me send the filters back. But after further discussion with Joanne, we thought it might be a problem with the gas supply. Sure enough! The propane guy put some chemical in my gas tank to remove moisture and that old trusty T-K Jr fired right up. Thanks again Joanne D.

I was happy to find this replacement part at a good price and received quickly, ordering was fast and easy. The replacement filter fits the filter port just fine and matches the original filter OD and length, however, the tabbed hole in the end of the filter does not fit the attachment nub on the screw cap. The original filter was attached to the cap so that when you unscrew the cap the filter pulled out with the cap. The tabbed opening on the replacement part is too small to fit over the nub on the cap and the plastic being a little brittle I broke off a couple of the tabs trying to press it onto the screw cap. I ended up cutting out the two remaining unbroken tabs to get the filter and cap properly installed and seated in the filter port. I was still able to use the replacement part but it is not attached to the screw cap like the original part was. This was a little of an inconvenience but I was still able to use the replacement with a little fiddling.

This was a replacement part, the customer service representative was very helpful, as we ordered the wrong part and found the correct one via the phone call.
