Return Air Grille - works just fine.
I almost didn't order this one because of the low rating. I'm glad I did. It worked perfectly for my application and I didn't have any issues installing it. It's a simple 14x8 return air grille. It would have been nice if it included a template, but I made my own out of the cardboard it was packed in. No big deal.

The jury is out but it doesn't look good
Air passing from one room to another is fine. The light reduction is fine. The sound reduction is nil. But, I am working on some ideas to reduce the noise levels between the 2 areas utilizing the vent. To say that it mitigates sound, should never be used in the description of the product.

I ordered from supplyhouse.com and received only an $8 register grill. Returned, called customer service and explained the issue, and placed a new order. A few days later I received the same wrong part. I returned the 2nd part and ordered elsewhere. Product is fine if you get what you ordered.
