The Actuating Motor 741 is designed to operate any of the tekmar 3-way and 4-way brass mixing valves from type 710 through to type 724. The 741 provides 6 N=m (53 in=lbs) of torque over a 90¼ rotation. The actuating motor rotates its output shaft whenever 24 V (ac) is applied between either the counter clockwise or clockwise terminals and the Com terminal. The motor is compatible with any control having a 24 V (ac) floating output.

This product was great. We had an apartment building with 6 zones of hot water heat. One Of the mixing valves went down at about 1 pm. Every vendor we called could not get the valve for about 2 to 3 weeks. I went to your site and had it the next day at my office in less than 24 hours with free shipping! This product is easy and fast to install. It can be used in residential to commercial applications. This application was on a 3" hot water zone. Heat was restored and the job was done. I would recommend this product to anyone, as well as your company

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe 741 is a floating action motor, the signal required to run it is a 24 V (ac) to power open and a 24 V (ac) signal to power it closed, the Tekmar Mixing Control 360 would be a better recommendation as a basic level entry unit.

Q: I am looking for a 1 1/4" 4 way valve and controller for a hydronic system. The valve/controller needs to be 24V. to open and self closing. The valve/controller I am replacing is an "AutoMix II" and operating with a Tarm Boiler.
