The Actuating Motor 743 is a 24 V floating action actuator designed to operate all Tekmar brass mixing valves (710 to 724). It receives a 24 V open or close signal, which causes the motor to open or close the valve. It provides 10 N.m (88 in.lbs) of torque over a 90 degree rotation. This product rotates its output shaft whenever 24 V (ac) is applied between either the counter clockwise or clockwise terminals and the Com terminal. It is compatible with any control having a 24 V (ac) floating output.

Noticeable gas savings
Installed this actuating motor on a Tekmar 4 way mixing valve to control the supply temp to 5500 sq ft of heated radiant floor. The house has Kitek tubbing (but not the high zinc fittings thankfully) and wanted the tubing to last another 20+ years by controlling the temp swings. The valve, actuator and controller work flawlessly at keeping the supply temp to zones between 100 and 112 deg and best of all the gas bill has been cut by 1/3 to 1/2. Didn't expect that kind of savings.
