Teams defrost board

Went right in as a direct replacement on my American Standard (Trane) 3 ton heat pump. Replaced a still functioning but aging out board.

Be careful while unplugging the nine pin connector

My original CNT05010 in my Trane XL16i compressor went bad. It would cause the compressor to not start. I could sometimes get it to come on by partially unplugging the main 9 pin connector. It turns out that about half of the 9 pins on the main connector had broken solder joints on the back of the CNT05010 circuit board. I believe it was caused because the 9 pin connector is VERY tight in its socket. If you pull on the 9 pin connector without supporting the base socket you are putting a lot of pulling force on the pins going through the circuit board. You should be careful to pry the plug off without pulling on the socket base. Use a flat screw driver to pry slowly from both sides of the connector so you put minimal pulling force on the socket base. I put in this new CNT05010 and the AC compressor started up normally.
