Great part to get old 2 stage furnace up and running
Had an XL80 two stage gas furnace with the original ignition / control board showing continuous on diagnostic LED, which for the original indicates internal control failure. There aren't many options for a proper replacement for it nowadays (over 20 year old furnace) but thankfully this one is available from SupplyHouse.com and it is the current Trane recommended kit for my model furnace. The wiring connections are the same as the original, as far as label goes, but some of the connectors are in a different location than the original, that is why it comes with some extender wires. I had to use only two of the extender wires and also removed a zip tie holding the inducer wires in the burner compartment to allow enough slack for the connector to the replacement board. Did not get any phantom error codes, as mentioned in a previous review. Everything worked as it should. I am an HVAC tech so that may have something to do with that. I like that the replacement board has an option to compensate for operating the two stage furnace from a standard single stage thermostat (only energizing W1). It has switches onboard to select that the second stage will automatically be energized after several minutes of W1 being energized. You should only set this option if you're not connecting W2 to the thermostat.

Replaced 50A51-495 Trane XL80 Control Board
Swap was pretty much plug and play. Both the main connections had to be flipped over but everything went smoothly. All wires were long enough (some barely) so didn't use the extension. Fired right up and no issues. Took about 30 minutes to switch out. $230 + 30 minutes made it happen. HVAC guy want $1000+ to do the work. Supply House had a great process and crazy quick delivery. Great service.

Great replacement for obsolete control
CNT07566 control board in the kit worked great in Trane XL 80 furnace to replace 50A51-495. I had to redress the wiring without cutting or adding. Left unconnected Hum and EAF, not used. Mounted with 3 screws in existing holes. 1/2 hr job.
Before purchase, verified with Supply House for part compatibility by chatting with real person. This was super helpful for DIY.
My Furnace is working great again.

Revived a 30 yo XL80 Furnace
Best price around and arrived the next morning. Install is pretty much and play, but some wires are tight that don't have extenders. Screw mounting was not same locations, but was able hold with all four screws. Board works well and has added diagnostic features and a accessible fuse. Was able to duplicate fan timing dip switch setting like the original.
