Use this for KIT17858 !!!
I had supply problems with Trane two stage furnace KIT17858. THIS IS THE ONE TO USE IN ITS PLACE. The Trane branded OEM kit came in wrong for me twice... This White Rodgers universal control sure seems to fit and operate exactly like the OEM one anyway. White Rodgers is the manufacturer of both the universal and the OEM. This solution worked like a charm for me on a Trane 80+ two stage unit. All functions identical, and all settings available as manufacturer intended with three speed fan motor. Carry on!!

It takes the place of an old White Rodgers FCM (Furnace Control Module). I used a 3m Filtrete filter, and knew i had to change it soon, and it slipped my mind, and WHAMO! ice, so i hooked up a relay, just to get it going for the time it took to get a new board, and i could not find an OEM White Rodgers that was from a reputable dealer, so i had to buy the EMERSON Electric. Life goes on. Thankfully i have the old FCM, and i will fix it and when this one goes bad i will have a backup. Considering how things are going with China, i think buying extra stuff now is a very smart thing if you can. I can't or i would buy an extra new FCM. I sure appreciate the everything that come with the FCM, especially the operation strategy chart, that is the most valuable thing i got, i can make everything work, i just didnt know the best way to do it. The whole package is just wonderful. THANK YOU

Great Replacement Controller
Used this controller to replace a White-Rodgers 50A51-215 with a burned out inducer fan relay. Controller works great and has far better diagnostic tools then the older boards. Wiring was very simple, direct plug-in for my previous model.
My only issues are that there is no wiring diagram for the 5 & 12 pin harness connections to the board and there is no plastic enclosure. Had to verify wiring of the harness plugs were the same by comparing photos from modules on cross-reference list.
Shipping was quick, which is helpful when you have to manually control your furnace burner on a sub-zero week.
