The perfect (coupling) fitting for a difficult application
I am not a professional plumber, but a homeowner who needed to fix a 1" galvanized water main in a 1950's-era house. SupplyHouse had this Dresser fittting in-stock, shipped it out inthe afternoona dn i ahd it the enxt morning. Water restored. This is a great fitting for hard-to-access pipes in pits or close quarters.

One gasket tore a bit but held pressure as desired, took it 100% tight. That may have caused it to rare.
