Description

The LFMMV series can be set to any temperature between 80°F and 120°F with flow rates as low as 0.5 gpm and as high as 12 gpm. This mixing valve series is listed under ASSE Standard 1016 for single fixture applications, ASSE 1017 for hot water source applications and ASSE 1070 for single or multiple fixture applications.

The LFMMV series uses a double throttling design to control both the hot and cold water supply to the mixed outlet. The superior flow characteristics of this valve provide accurate temperature control (3°F) with low pressure drop across the rated flow range.

As an added feature the LFMMV series incorporates integral inlet filter washers and check valves in both the hot and cold water inlets to protect against cross flow.

The LFMMV is available with either union thread (-UT), union solder (-US) connections. Adapters can be used to connect to CPVC or PEX end connections.

Doing it's job!

So far so good, easy install, don't forget the included screens. Leave the turn directions label on the adjustment knob for future use. Mine needed quite a few turns in the warmer direction from factory setpoint. I like it for ease of use!!!

Eliminated the threat of scaulding

For years we always had to notify everyone in the house if you were going to shower so no one would flush the toilet or use water due to the risk of getting burned. The mixing valve eliminated the threat. The water temperature may increase by 1 or 2 degrees in the shower but not enough to burn. And I no longer worry about the grand-kids burning their hands if they turn on the hot water in the sink because the hot side is set on the mixing valve to 120 degrees while the hot water tank is still set to 140 degrees.

Q: Does the adjustment knob have a lock on it and if so how is it undone for adjustments?

There is a screw holding the knob. The screw locks the knob when completely turned clockwise. Unscrew a few turns and pull the knob, it unlocks and you can make ajustements, then lock it back in place with the screw. Jean Lacerte Envoyé de mon iPhone

Q: I'm thinking of using this with a solar water heater. In the summer I'm sure the water on the hot side will be hot enough, but we happens when the hot side is not hot anymore? Does it just open full to the hot side trying to get to the preset temp? Thanks
