Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffOnix tubing is only used for heating applications, the fitting does not need to be lead free.

Q: Is this an alternative to Rifeng H063850LF to be used with the stainless steel clamping system or the copper crimp ring system? Is it better then Refing? It's much more expensive.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis part is designed for use with Onix tubing. Onix shares some characteristics with PEX, but there are major differences and the two types of tubing do not use the same fittings. Also note that the 684001-10 fittings are sold in quantities of 10.
