It was easy to install on my old pump which has been very reliable over the years and worth fixing. The switch was a little expensive, but customer service at supplyhouse.com made up for it with their responsiveness in answering a question I had.

Kept the pump from being trashed
The replacement kit was used to repair a damaged top on a CDU980. The sump pump would have been trashed if the repair kit hadn't been available. The kit contained everything need to repair the damage top including a new o-ring. The kit was easy to install and the pump was up and running in less that 15 minutes.
The kit allowed us to repair our unit for half the cost of buying a new sump pump.
I'd purchase the kit again from SupplyHouse.com if needed. The ordering process was easy and the part arrived shortly after the order was replaced.

I have a Wayne sump pump.
Wayne recommends replacing the switch every two years.
This is the recommended part # for the replacement.
