Instant install
This item is really an easy part to install. No mystery. Just three wires and two pipe connections. My old unit failed due to poorly designed internal electrical connections that burned with age. This new valve is about 3/4" shorter. In many cases, there will be enough play in the gas piping to compensate.

Excellent Universal Replacement Valve
As we were very cold with our furnace not working, PEX's fast delivery was really appreciated and faster than going off Cape - it is tough to get parts quickly on Cape Cod. This gas valve is a universal replacement for both pilot and non-pilot units, has a wide range of BTU capacity, comes with the pilot plugged but removable, comes with all the bushings needed to adapt it to various manifolds, adjustable outlet pressure checked and stamped to 3.5 inches and detailed installation instructions (a must to install properly). Works perfectly as described
I replaced a 20-yr-old 36H36-201 with this 36H32-304, the recommended replacement for my obsolete valve. It came factory set to 3.5"WC outlet pressure and required no adjustment. The only slight glitch is that this valve has a taller profile, making it necessary to loosen the burner tube on my Bryant furnace and remove it from the jets in order to tighten the valve onto it. If ordering from Canada, I advise against using UPS as they charge outrageous customs brokerage fees ($35 on a [$] part)compared to US / Canada postal service, which charges nominal, if any fees.
