I bought these as spares for electric furnace.
I have not installed these yet but have used this brand to fix open and weak electric furnace safety switch. I keep 2 as spares for when i need to fix one of my apartment furnaces. Cost is comparable to what i pay at supply house and i dont have to waste time and gas to go there.

Works well in my system
Replaced three of these temp switches in my 25 year old Coleman Evcon heater coils, only had to change out one, but what the heck, new is new... found out one of my coils had not fired up in years until I replaced the switches! I've got more heat now than ever, and my heat in general does not run constantly in these cooler Fall temps. Supply House fixed me up!

Q: How much heat can these switches withstand? I want to use it on a flue pipe for my furnace that may reach 280-300 degrees..
