Pre-sleeved Wirsbo Aquapex tubing is used in hot and cold water distribution systems. This high-density polyethylene (HDPE) corrugated sleeve provides protection for installations in concrete slabs or soil, and allows for removal and replacement of the tubing if required.

Received an excellent condition
I may have already left a review with the previous order. Part of our order was lost by the UPS. Called up supply house and they had already been notified by UPS that the shipment was lost. They re-shipped my order X expeditiously. Great customer service wouldn't go anywhere else.

Pex A received quickly
The Pex coil was received in good condition within a week. It came across the country in record time. Another coil was lost in shipping but supplyhouse sent another coil immediately and did not impact our project. Great customer support!

The first shipment was lost by UPS. After receiving the information from UPS that it was missing, I contacted Supplyhouse and they immediately confirmed that the shipment was missing and re shipped another coil of Pex.

Good Product
I'm am big believer in Uponor Aquapex. So when a customer came to me about replacing a PVC watermain at his lake house with pex this the natural choice. Worked great, but if your going to have left overs it will be a small pain to roll up neatly.
Pros: Same Uponor Aquapex just sleeved.
Negitives: Wish it came in different size rolls.

Q: How thick is the insulation around this tubing? Minnesota recently passed a law that requires all 3/4 inch hot water piping to be wrapped. How thick is the insulation?

The corrugated tube around this pex pipe is not insulation. The corrugated tube provides something more like crush resistance, a method of removing the internal pex pipe after it has been buried, and a small amount of abrasion resistance to the buried, internal pex pipe.

This is more a plastic sleeve to protect the pipe. We use it so if aver a problem, you can pull pipe from sleeve and replace. There are other pex products available that are pre insulated. JK Kenn Construction

Q: My home in Hawaii has red pex for hot water, but a long run form the hot water tank. What kind of insulation can I use to improve the heat retention. I have a solar system, but its copper to the hot water tank.
