A direct replacement that was easy to do

It's a Fasco inducer motor NOT a York inducer motor
On Dec 27th I ordered a 37320717001 venter motor. Supplyhouse's description called it "an official OEM replacement part for York HVAC equipment". In the box was a Fasco part # 70625766! Unlike other online vendors Supplyhouse didn't identify it as a Fasco part in any way. The Fasco motor/impeller was locked up, immediately after unboxing it was apparent the part was bad, couldn't turn the impeller by hand.
I'm not a professional, just a homeowner that does what repairs I can myself, I have ordered two venter/inducer motors, both that were shipped were Fasco, both were bad and had to be re-ordered to get a good one! With that experience I wouldn't want to purchase a Fasco inducer motor ever again. But I have since learned that Fasco seems to completely dominate the inducer motor market.
Supplyhouse handled this situation much better that the vendor that I ordered the inducer motor for the first furnace I worked on. They sent a replacement motor out very quickly at no charge and paid the return shipping on the defective motor. I couldn't ask for any better service!
My suggestions for Supplyhouse would be to 1. identify it as a Fasco part in their description 2. Offer faster shipping on the initial order and 3. find another vendor besides Fasco (which looks like is impossible at this point).
