Sturdy flex duct
I'm very impressed with both the Fab 3 5" non-insulated flex duct and 8" insulated flex duct. This duct's "core" is made of a metal foil and plastic layered material which incorporates fiberglass reinforcement between layers. This material is many times thicker than standard plastic bag type flex duct core and seems much less prone to damage and deterioration.
