A semi rigid and lightweight non-insulated air duct, Triple Lock (T/L) is manufactured by using a dead soft aluminum strip which is spirally wound and mechanically joined together forming an air tight and leakproof triple lock seam. A self supporting and corrosive resistant ULC-S110 and UL181 Class 1 product is produced which provides excellent strength and flexibility, adaptable to any low to high pressure heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.

Works on Nissan 50 Forklift
2 inch I.D. aluminum pipe works nicely on Nissan forklift carburetor heaters, often used on LPG/propane models (such as those with H15, H20-2, H25, K21, and K25 engines). New solid feel upgrade.

cost effective solution.
I purchased this product to replace an old broken apart pre heat air intake duct on my Volvo auto. The length of the original was about 4 ft. so I only expanded this 5 ft. duct to 4ft. It came about 2 ft. long and expands to 5 ft. It works for my application but gave it a 4 star rating because between the ribbing the actual foil material is very thin. So thing simply bumping it against an edge or pointed part of the engine components caused a tear. Being it was only about 1/2 inch, I sealed it with auto sealant. For auto pre heat ducts, it does do the job.
