Inox Pro stainless steel expansion tank works for me
My previous 2.1 gallon Non-stainless expansion tank cost approx. $55 compared to approx. $250 for this Inox Pro tank. My previous Non-stainless expansion tank failed as a component of my residential booster pump after approx. 5-1/2 years. I noticed that it had rusted at the top and was leaking very slightly at the top also. When I pointed out the rust/leak to my plumber he said yes your tank needs to be replaced. I then researched and ordered this Inox Pro stainless steel version of same-size 2.1 gallon expansion tank. When my plumber removed my old non-stainless expansion tank, he noted by the weight of the tank that it was entirely full of water, indicating that the internal bladder had ruptured. I ordered and then provided this Inox Pro tank to my plumber for him to install. I am happy that I was able to find and purchase what appears to be the best quality 2.1 gallon potable water expansion tank available.
