- Reduces motor and pump noise from plumbing system
- Meets requirements of Wisconsin Uniform Plumbing Code
- Flexible neoprene slip x slip union includes stainless steel clamps for low pressure systems. Avoid more than 10 ft. static head above the check valve. 4.3 PSI at 130°F.
- Stainless steel screws
- Extra wide hinge to reduce hinge stress
- Plastic check has PVC body and can be installed with solvent welded couplings for pressure systems to 25 PSI (57' [17 m] of head) (P/N 30-0023)
- Stainless steel sleeves available to meet Illinois plumbing code. C.I. 30-0201 / PVC 30-0202

Similar to in-line check valve previously installed. Thought I'd replace it when I installed new pump, alarm and controls. They only last so long and then they start leaking. Easy install and work great.

Just what I needed
This Zoeller In-Line Check Valve is just what I wanted. I am integrating a new battery back-up sump pump into a 70 year old commercial system that was piped with galvanized steel pipe and bronze valves and formerly used two (2) tandem pumps. Over the years, one of the pumps was removed and the other was replaced with a more modern design. All of those high quality old valves are staying from the removed pump, but from the floor down into the pit, they'll be PVC plastic. Only this valve mounted horizontally and an elbow will be above the sump cover. The "splice" will be easy. I just cut off the threads on a galvanized nipple and screwed it into the old bronze gate valve. Then, I slid this valve's sleeve onto it and tightened the clamp. The other end slips on the male end of a "Street-Ell" and is similarly fastened. The Flapper-Style of the valve also has minimum resistance, so the battery powered sump pump doesn't have difficulty overcoming back-pressure. Job done, it looks good. and works good too.

The best trait about this assembly in my opinion is the robust coupling hoses.
