Dependable product
I bought this check valve to replace the same model that I installed 14 years ago with a new sump pump. The sump pump finally failed but the check valve was still going strong. I replaced it just for peace of mind, but still worked perfectly.

Easy to install and fits both sizes really well.
We have a pressure gauge that does not work on a piece of equipment and I
hooked it up to a 1 & 1/2 inch hose and it carried the water where I wanted it to go.
It is easy to install with only a screwdriver

Q: What are the in-line dimensions (both pipe-gap and rubber-end-to-rubber-end)? I intend to use this horizontally on 1.5" pipe in the sump, but not sure I have room. Thanks.

Using 1-1/2" pipe end to end rubber is 9". The pipe inserts 1" each end, so your pipe gap is 7". If you switch to 1-1/4" pipe the dimensions drop to 7-1/2" and 5-1/2" respectively. I hope this is helpful.
