                Q:

I am replacing 3 B&G zone valves (old style M1) with 3 new B&G CT-24 zone valves, after installing, the 24V transformer on the Honeywell L8148E aquastat burned up. The replacement aquastat recommends using a AT72D external transformer to power more than two zone valves along with a vent damper and gas controls. The new zone valves have a .6A rating. I am looking for advice on how to wire the external transformer with the zone valves
