I would buy this product again, but...
I hope I never have to. I'm not an Hvac tech or anything yet it was pretty simple install. Mounting bracket was exact same as former (Basler) so holes lined up perfect.

Received timely and performed well
This transformer was for replacement in my apartment heating system - Apollo Hydro Heating, it matched the mounting holes and dimensions were within the space available in mounting box. It has performed well. The supplier could consider installing as built-in a resettable PTC fuse for protection of this type of small rating transformers.
As regards shipment precautions, the original box housing the transformer should be properly tapped so that it does not comeout and the leads do not develop pressed marks.

My opinion
This unit works good for a replacement 24 volt transformer for my central vacuum cleaner. I did have to remodel my vacuum cleaner's mounting location to fit this transformer but it was the closest one I could find to fit my old transformer mounting location. I also had to solder the leads from the old transformer to this unit because the old transformer leads had terminals on them that I need to go to the relay. I hope this new transformer will last another 30 years like the original transformer!

I would buy this product again
It needed to have the foot a different size. It did not mount in place of the factory one. It worked after a little manipulation.

The multi-voltage transformer is less expensive, but the installation looks cleaner when there are no extra wires. Noticed the old transformer was hot to the touch, so I bought this one and it bolted right in. The old transformer insulation crumbled as I removed it and the wires broke right off. Take a look at yours. New one runs cool; caught this problem in time.
