A qualified gas heater repair person would have to come over and check your unit, its schematic, and manual to see if it is electrically and mechanically equivalent to the model you are trying to replace. Then go thru the safety test procedures after it is installed to see if it does start up, work as intended, and shut off properly in a safe manner.
