Perfect Replacement
I like to use OEM parts and this fits the bill. I probably left the anode in too long as it was shot. I delayed getting it out as it was under the hot water out line. I wish my builder would have speced out the anode rod separate form the water line,but it is what it is. Removing requires a long breaker bar/pipe wrench combo,more work than a single hex nut.

Shorter than needed
It came on time and in good packaging. However, it was shorter than needed for my water heater. I was told that original part number is discontinued and this is the alternative but this was shorter than needed.

So happy to get rid of the sulfur odor emanating from my water heater. Dropped Supply anode rod in and voila, I am back in business with no odors.

I would recommend this product
I couldn't find this part anywhere in Western North Carolina. Ferguson didn't even carry the part in their warehouse. Found on Supply Warehouse and was at my house within 2 days. Exactly as advertised 3/4" with a 5" nipple. As for how it will hold up is yet to be determined. I installed the part into our hot water heater about 3 weeks ago and haven't had any problems so far. Hopefully will hold up and live up to the 5 star review.

Excellent customer service
