Q: how much air pressure should the bladder be set at.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe well tank is pre-charged to 38 PSI from the factory. Air should be added or removed via the air valve cap on the tank to make the precharge pressure 2 PSI below the pressure switch pump cut-in setting. Example: with a pre-charge of 38 psig, and a pressure switch setting of 30/50 PSI, adjust pre-charge of your well tank from 38 PSI to 28 PSI
