A useful ball valve by Apollo.

Use: The water service line was replaced from galvanized steel to copper. We wanted a way to drain the interior lines for future service work or winterizing the residence. Pros: This ball valve allows for easy flushing for the interior residential water lines. A standard garden or clothes washer hose can be attached on to the end, and used to flush the water lines into a sink or pale. The valve comes with a cap and chain, keeping the valve clean, and reducing the chance of loosing the cap. The cap produces a leak free seal, which is useful in case the valve was unintentionally opened. The valve has the ability to be rebuilt in place without de-soldering. Cons: The valve is lead free bronze, and a bit on the heavy side. The only issue was soldering the cup takes patience, it was a bit of a challenge keeping the cup hot enough for the solder to take without over cooking the valve itself. I would recommend using acetylene over propylene for the installation of this valve. Due to the weight, a secure should probably be installed on the pipe close to the valve. After installation, the valve works as intended.
