The Aprilaire Feed Tube and Nozzle 4235 is the water feed tube inside the humidifier, which connects the solenoid valve and then to the top of the unit. The nozzle attaches to the inside, top of the base of the humidifier. Includes #4004 In-Line Strainer and #4231 Yellow Orifice. Also includes compression sleeve and compression nut.

The Part Fit and Performs as it Should.
I used this to replace an existing feed tube and nozzle on an Aprilaire 700M. Fit perfectly. Caution: Make sure that you are using the correct length of tube for your humidifier. There also is a 4335. This one will be a couple of inches too short for 700 series.

The part I received did not fit exactly
I already sent an email to you, but never got a reply.
The product you sent had flaws. It was the correct part # etc., but the actual part did not fit. It was too short, but the solenoid end was perfect. I made it to fit by utilizing a piece of the old cable and glued it to the new cable. In addition, the plastic part that attaches to the filter was a totally different configuration. I used the old one! It works, but I don't know fo how long.

The feed tube fit and works fine, and was reasonably priced - not much to say about a tube and nozzle. However, the customer service I received was above and beyond. I was quoted a fast delivery time which was missed by 1 day. Before the initial date, Supply House notified me of the delay and gave me a 20% rebate because of it. Few companies acknowledge slips in delivery times, fewer apologize for them (unless they are extended delays), and nobody else offers any compensation. I appreciate this approach to customer service and, like the headline says, I'll go here first.
