Exact replacement for a part that breaks
The pleat spacer is surprisingly delicate for equipment that should last a long time. I just had two of them break at the block where they click into place. And it's really important that they do click into place because if they don't they can move around and make it almost impossible to slide the unit out of its case. (You don't need to ask how I know this.) Fortunately the exact replacement is available. They are expensive, but at least SupplyHouse is not nearly as expensive as some others.

The ends were changed for them to fit flush into my 2400 filter. I was not able to use them and had to send them back.

These fit perfectly and were clearly a design improvement with more robust ends where the combs attach to the filter housing (the breakage point for my old combs).

I didn't know I needed these, but happy to have found them.
I had no idea these could be bought. I thought I'd have to use duct tape to keep them in place on the filter once the ends started becoming brittle and snapping off. Other than how expensive they are, I'm happy to know my air filter is in place correctly.

I haven't actually installed them yet as I had just changed the filter before I found these and it was a huge pain with the end clips broken off (dopey design really). I'm looking forward to switching them out for these new ones next time I change the filter. These were reasonably priced compared to the others I found and they arrived quite quickly too.
