Description

The Aprilaire Feed Tube with Sleeve 4335 is the water feed tube inside the humidifier, which connects the solenoid valve and then to the water distribution tray at the top of the unit. For use with Models 400, 400A, 400M, 500, 500A, 500M, 600, 600A and 600M. Includes #4004 In-Line Strainer and #4231 Yellow Orifice. Also includes compression sleeve and compression nut.

Perfect fit for Aprilaire 600M
I purchased this replacement hose as the original had cracked due to age and was leaking. Our HVAC vendor offered to sell us a replacement kit for the entire water feed assembly, but I really only needed this new hose. It was a perfect fit for my Aprilaire 600M, and was certainly long enough for my setup. Note: I did not need to use the water line strainer provided in the packaging. (At least I don't think so – I could not see an existing strainer in my existing setup that would need to have been removed and replaced with the new one.) The replacement has worked flawlessly for several weeks now and I have no concerns.

I would not buy this product again as it does not fit.
I bought 4 of these and just recently tried to use one and found out that the feed tube is too short. I have an April Aire model 550 that these were supposed to be compatible with. I see that others that have reviewed this product have had a similar experience. The small red and yellow filters and compression fitting are useable, it's just the feed tube that 3 to 4 inches too short.
Fortunately, my current feed tube is still serviceable.
The cost to return these for a refund is not worth the trouble.

Updated design addresses durability issues with original feed tube design (limited longevity, becomes brittle with exposure to elevated temperatures).

Perfect replacement!
Fixed my leaking humidifier. The strainer was broken and clogged and the orifice was widened to the point that the water pressure was no longer held back. Water was on my floor every day. This OEM part made everything work like new again!! Aprilaire 600
